GRUDGEBALL
Die. Plant your revenge. Count the bodies at dawn.
A shared daily marble gauntlet — every trap on the board was placed by a
real player who died to something someone else built.
Every trap has a name on it
The board isn't hand-authored and it isn't random. It's built entirely by the people who died on it yesterday.
Daily marble drops
Three marbles a day. Aim, drop, watch the carom — a magnet, a fan, a spike named by a stranger. Every death is attributed and counted.
One trap per day, into tomorrow
Spend your marbles and earn the right to place exactly one object into tomorrow's board — it goes live at the midnight UTC compile.
Menace vs. Angel economy
Plant cruelty and bank Menace credit for every kill. Plant mercy — boosters, cushions — and bank Angel credit for every save. Both count.
Cruelty Multiplier climbs hourly
The board accretes new traps every hour, so score multiplies from 1.0× at dawn toward 4.0× by midnight. Play safe early, or brave it late.
How it works
Four verbs, one screen, one thumb.
Drop
Open today's post. Tap a column, aim, DROP. Your marble threads bumpers and fans placed by other redditors, then lives or dies.
Get claimed
Die on a named trap and its body count ticks up live — the builder banks Menace credit. Survive, and you bank depth × the Cruelty Multiplier.
Place your grudge
Once your three marbles are spent, pick one of eight objects, name it (≤24 characters), and plant it into tomorrow's board.
Count the bodies
Come back at dawn. Your personal Grudge Report shows exactly what your trap did overnight — and where you land on the leaderboard.

The board talks back
Every run writes a line in the feed. These are the kinds of dispatches the board produces — the voice of the game, in the players' words.
I aimed dead center to play it safe. Center was a spike someone named Greg's Regret. I was victim #313. I planted my own the second I respawned.
Went full Angel this week — cushions and boosters only. Woke up to +41 saved and a stranger thanking a bumper I named. Weirdly wholesome.
The Cruelty Multiplier at 11pm is a different game. ×3.1 and the board's wall-to-wall traps. I only drop late now. Riskier, but the score is unreal.
In-world flavor from the game's demo feed — Grudgeball has no external users yet; nothing here is presented as a real customer review.

Die once. Plan your revenge on the walk home.
If a spike named after you got your marble, it wasn't personal — it was Grudgeball.
